Susan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from East Tennessee State University. She gained extensive experience working as an inpatient psychiatric nurse for many years, becoming skilled at addressing a wide range of psychiatric disorders for individuals in acute crisis and those with chronic mental health needs before continuing her journey to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Susan believes in personalized care and strives to work collaboratively with individuals to aid them in achieving their optimal mental and physical health. Her clinical practice focuses on consultation, treatment selection and administration, and care coordination for patients facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and her kitty fur babies. She loves to stay active by gardening, hiking, and kayaking which allows her to enjoy another hobby, being a “foodie”
