West Cary Psychiatry is proud to offer computerized testing for evaluation of ADHD and cognitive disorders to our community.
The testing is performed through CNS Vital Signs. This software uses scientifically validated, objective and reliable computerized neuropsychological tests to evaluate the neurocognitive status of the patient. The testing covers a range of mental processes to provide a robust view of the patient's neurocognitive status.
Benefits of testing:
The testing consists of three visits:
As part of the assessment, the visit notes and testing results will be sent to the patient's referring provider or the provider(s) of their choice.
West Cary Psychiatry has a dedicated testing room to allow for the most accurate results possible.
Computerized cognitive testing is often covered by Medicare and private insurance and is accepted by most educational institutions for accommodation requests.
